Leading in Head Start is a challenge. Expectations are high and you have plenty to do each day. Performance Standards say that you also have to build and maintain a culture of program improvement informed by data. How do you do that with everything else you have to do?
This certificate is designed to provide a solid foundation in the practical use of data in managing programs. The focus of the material is on the practical application of tools and techniques in your daily management that can help build a team that is comfortable with data as on of the tools to make your program achieve its goals. You may not be a “data person” but this certificate can help you to gain the skills you need to lead in the people side of all things data.
Five Modules:
- Module 1: Management and Data
- Module 2: Cultivating a Healthy Data Climate
- Module 3: Using Data Workflows
- Module 4: Storytelling with Data
- Module 5: Engaging Program Staff with Data
All sessions are single-day, 3-hour Zoom sessions.
Successful completion earns:
- 17 PDH (15 in sessions, 2 hours prep time prior to sessions)
- 1.7 CEUs
- A digital credential
