- This course is not about statistics, numbers, or learning to program computers. It is about how regular folks who have never had a stats class can learn to use data to make the world a better place.
- Working with data can be challenging, especially while doing all the other things that your job includes.
- This course focuses on key concepts and practices for using data in the real world of Head Start programs.
- Become more comfortable talking about data and using data to make the lives of the children and families in your program better.
For Programs
- Head Start programs must use data to inform decisions. They also must demonstrate this during reviews.
- There is no easy way to build your capacity to use data. It requires time, effort, and a staff empowered to do it.
- To make this happen, you need a data literate staff across your whole organization.
- To build that, you need people to lead the way. This class teaches the foundational data literacy skills you need to make your program better at using data.
